Khaberni - In the days leading up to Eid al-Fitr, Jordanians bid farewell to three Public Security officers who ascended as martyrs to duty during a security raid targeting one of the dangerous wanted individuals involved in drug cases east of the capital, Amman.

The spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that a force from the Anti-Narcotics Department carried out, this morning, a raid on the wanted individual, who immediately started firing at the forces, resulting in the martyrdom of First Lieutenant Murad Masoud Al-Mawajdeh, Sergeant Khaldoun Ahmed Al-Raqab, and Corporal Subhi Mohammed Dweikat, and injuring another non-commissioned officer who was transferred to the hospital and is under treatment.
