Israeli Document Iran Not Broken and Ready to Fight to the End

Khaberni - "The Washington Post" disclosed that Israeli officials presented an assessment indicating that Iran is still holding strong and ready to "fight to the end," despite the assassination of its highest leader Ali Khamenei.
According to the newspaper, citing a diplomatic cable from the United States Embassy in Jerusalem, the cable contains a definitive Israeli assessment that Iran "has not broken" and is determined to continue the battle.

The document indicates that Israel was expecting the assassination of Khamenei on February 28 to lead to "chaos" within the Iranian leadership, but the operational capabilities of the Islamic Republic remain intact, as it continues to launch ballistic missiles "wherever it wants."

The newspaper writes that the resilience of the Iranian authorities is one of many factors that seem to have been underestimated by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump in this conflict. While Washington and Tel Aviv were betting on a quick internal collapse, recent days have revealed the Iranian leadership's grip on power and continued directing retaliatory strikes through missiles and drones.

This assessment comes at a time when the United States and Israel have been conducting a broad military operation against Iran since February 28, resulting in the death of Khamenei and dozens of leaders, with ongoing exchanges of missile strikes and drones across multiple fronts.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia described the assassination of Khamenei as being "in blatant violation of all rules of human morality and international law."
