Khaberni - The spokesperson for the General Security Directorate said that a security force from the Anti-Drug Department executed a security raid this morning on one of the dangerous wanted individuals involved in drug-related issues in the eastern areas of the capital. As soon as the force arrived, the wanted individual immediately opened fire towards them, resulting in the martyrdom of: First Lieutenant Murad Masoud Al-Mawajdeh, Corporal Khaldoun Ahmad Al-Raqab, and Private Subhi Mohammad Dweikat, and the injury of another non-commissioned officer who was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The spokesperson confirmed that the force was able to respond in kind to the wanted individual until he was controlled, arrested, and found in possession of three firearms, along with quantities of drug pills, three blocks of hashish, and quantities of crystal meth and marijuana.
The General Security Directorate confirmed that while it mourns the three martyrs of the homeland, it prays for their forgiveness and mercy and for their families and colleagues for patience and solace and offers condolences, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery. It reaffirms that it will continue its duty to maintain public security and order and pursue anyone attempting to compromise it or attempting to spread these poisons and dealing and promoting them among the members of this society, offering its utmost for this purpose, and indeed to God we belong and to Him we shall return.
