Khaberni - The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission warned citizens about attempts of cyber fraud, urging them to avoid clicking on any electronic links received from unknown sources or those impersonating official institutions.
The commission stated in a statement today, Tuesday, that it is essential not to follow deceptive shopping offers or untrusted ones, and not to respond to any party requesting the transfer of financial amounts or sharing personal data.
The commission also stressed the need not to respond to any call requesting the transfer of money made in the voice of a family member, due to the possibility of its being created using artificial intelligence technologies, except after re-contacting to verify its reliability.
