UEFA sets ticket prices for the Champions League final

Khaberni- UEFA announced on Monday that the ticket prices for the men's Champions League final in Budapest will start from 70 euros, with the tickets to be distributed to the general public via a lottery.

The final match will be held on May 30 at the Puskás Aréna in the Hungarian capital.
Fans will also be able to attend the UEFA Women's Champions League final at the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on May 23 for only 20 euros, with ticket sales starting today for all club competition finals under UEFA.

This pricing structure varies from major international tournaments such as the World Cup and the European Championships, where ticket prices are usually much higher, sparking criticism from fans.

The application window for ticket purchases is open via the UEFA ticketing portal, with sales for the Champions League final ending on March 19.

Afterwards, tickets will be allocated through a lottery system rather than being sold on a first-come, first-served basis or dynamic pricing models increasingly used at major sporting events.

UEFA stated that the majority of tickets for the four finals would go to fans of the participating teams and the general public, with more than 40 percent of the capacity of the Champions League final stadium allocated to fans in the lowest price category.

The ticket prices for the Europa League final in Istanbul scheduled for May 20 start at 40 euros, while the prices for the Europa Conference League final in Leipzig scheduled for May 27 start at 25 euros.
