Khaberni - Media reports have confirmed that speculation continues about the future of the Ukrainian Mykhailo Modric after his long absence from games, amidst a state of uncertainty surrounding his career with Chelsea.
According to the Transfer News Live account on X citing the French newspaper L'Equipe, Modric continues his daily training in an attempt to revive his career, and was seen at the facilities of one of the lower-tier English clubs, away from the spotlight, to maintain his physical fitness and readiness.
It added: "What is striking in the developments of the file is the spread of unusual rumors about his future, as some stories have talked about the possibility of him turning into an Olympic sprinter in relay races, benefiting from his great speed, while other speculations went to the possibility of him working as a driver in transport services, amidst the uncertainty surrounding his football future."
It continued: "On the legal side, Morgan Law Office is defending Mykhailo Modric, while a final decision regarding the potential length of suspension, which could be long-term, is awaited."
It went on: "If the suspension is confirmed, Chelsea might find itself facing the option of terminating the player's contract, further complicating the scene and placing Modric's future before several open scenarios, whether returning to the field or looking for a different path outside of football."
