Was Netanyahus Appearance in an Israeli Soldiers Café an Optical Illusion

Khaberni  - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared in a video clip yesterday, Sunday, sipping coffee inside a café named "Sataf" (Sataf) in the forests on the hills of occupied East Jerusalem, in a move aimed at denying rumors about his assassination.

The process of verification and visual analysis of this appearance indicates data that goes beyond merely denying the rumor. Reviews of reports related to the café revealed that its ownership returns to soldiers in the Israeli reserve forces.

A sign featuring the Israeli flag and the number 12 appeared in the video, with Hebrew writing saying "In front of you is a business owned by a reserve soldier." This initiative, launched by the Israeli channel "Keshet 12" in cooperation with Israeli comedian Hanoch Daum, aims to encourage the public to support and prefer businesses owned by reserve soldiers in the Israeli military.

This project, according to Israeli media, aims to reintegrate Israeli reserve soldiers into normal life and support their commercial projects after more than two years of fighting in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Despite Netanyahu's attempt to appear calm in the published video, other shots showed how tight security surrounded Netanyahu inside and outside the café, due to the security alert caused by the ongoing war in the region.

The recording of the video clip garnered about 70 million views and hundreds of thousands of interactions, reflecting the wide spread of reports that Netanyahu was targeted for assassination. At the same time, this huge number highlights the extent of the ongoing debate across digital platforms and the continual skepticism regarding the video's authenticity.

Social Media Speculations

Social media platforms saw a wave of interactions and speculations that doubted the authenticity and accuracy of Netanyahu's appearance. Some accounts described the video as a scene created by artificial intelligence.

However, other photos posted by the café's account on Instagram via the "Story" feature do not support the hypothesis of Netanyahu's appearance in a video made by artificial intelligence.

In related context, visual content creator on the "X" platform, Matt Wallace, raised questions that cast doubts on the authenticity of the clip. Wallace mentioned that he initially considered the rumors about Benjamin Netanyahu to be nonsense, but after scrutinizing the coffee clip, he began to seriously wonder about the potential use of an advanced artificial intelligence system to create this scene.

Wallace explained that he slowed down the clip, noticing digital glitches in Netanyahu's coat pocket. He added there are other suspicious details in the video, such as the physics of the coffee movement, a man wearing a mask in the background, and the nature of the background scene.

He questioned whether the delay in responding to the rumors was due to an attempt to design a flawless video using artificial intelligence.

While the content creator emphasized that he does not promote conspiracy theories, he pointed out that Israel possesses advanced capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence globally, and Netanyahu is indeed in the actual targeting circle. Wallace concluded his talk by questioning the possibility of using optical illusions as tools of psychological warfare.

Minutes ago, Netanyahu reposted new scenes from his visit to the café on the hills of Jerusalem, coinciding with the widespread skepticism on social media platforms about the authenticity of the first clip he appeared in yesterday.

In an earlier statement on Saturday, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied allegations circulating on social media about his assassination via an Iranian attack in response to American and Israeli strikes, describing these news as false.

The denial came in response to an inquiry from the Anadolu Agency regarding the escalating claims of the assassination, with the Prime Minister's office stating: "These are false news, the Prime Minister is fine."

Israel and the United States continue to launch extensive attacks on Iran, resulting in hundreds of casualties, including Ali Khamenei and the Defense Minister, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, and other military leaders, according to data received.
