Starmer Britain will not be dragged into Iranian war and opening the Strait of Hormuz is not easy

Khaberni - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed that his country will not be drawn into a wider Iranian war, emphasizing the UK's commitment to working on finding a quick solution to the current crisis.

Starmer said on Monday that London is working with allies on a collective plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and restore freedom of navigation in the Middle East, but he clarified that the mission will not be easy.

He added to reporters, "We ultimately have to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to ensure the stability of the oil market. It's not a simple task."

He further added, "Therefore, we are working with all our allies, including our European partners, to develop an actionable collective plan that can restore freedom of navigation in the region as soon as possible and mitigate the economic impact."
