Jordan Meteorology Cold and rainy weather during the Eid AlFitr holiday

Khaberni - Meteorological forecasts indicate that the rainy conditions will continue in the kingdom tonight and Sunday, before the weather tends to stabilize on Monday and Tuesday, which precede the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, according to the Meteorological Department.

Raed Rafed Al Khattab, the director of the Meteorological Department, stated that temperatures will rise slightly on Monday and Tuesday with the weather stabilizing, where the conditions will be relatively cold to pleasant in most parts of the kingdom, and warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Al Khattab added that this stable weather will not last long, as it is expected that the kingdom will be affected by a new unstable weather condition by Wednesday evening, with the chances of rain beginning in the southern part of the kingdom and extending overnight to cover several areas.

He mentioned that temperatures will significantly drop on Thursday, leading to cold weather with increasing clouds and rain in the north and central parts of the kingdom and limited parts of the east and southwest of the kingdom. Thunderstorms are expected in some areas, accompanied by occasionally strong winds with gusts that may stir up dust.

As the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, expected to begin on Friday, approaches, Al Khattab anticipates that cold weather with periodic rain showers will prevail on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, in the north and central parts of the kingdom and limited parts of the east and southwest of the kingdom, possibly accompanied by thunder and hail in some areas.
