Rainfall amounts during the past 36 hours in Jordan

Khaberni - The Meteorological Department reported that the kingdom experienced varied-intensity rainfall over the past 36 hours until 9 PM Saturday due to unstable weather conditions, with some areas recording significant amounts of rainfall.
According to the department's weather stations, the Jebieh area in the capital Amman recorded the highest rainfall amount at 10.5 mm, followed by Mafraq with 9.9 mm, and then the Husain Gardens in Amman with 8.5 mm.
Wadi Al-Dalil and Al-Quwaysimah in Amman also recorded about 8 mm, while the rainfall at Amman Civil Airport (Marka) was 7.6 mm, and Zarqa and Madaba around 7.5 mm, and Al-Salt 7.3 mm.
The Meteorological Department noted that Queen Alia International Airport recorded 6.9 mm, Ras Munif / Ajloun recorded 6.2 mm, Al-Ghabawi 5.5 mm, and Al-Safawi 5 mm, while the rest of the recorded amounts in various regions of the kingdom ranged from 0.3 – 4.5 mm until 9 PM Saturday.
The department confirmed the ongoing monitoring of weather conditions and issuance of updates promptly.
