Khaberni - The University of Jordan is launching, on Sunday, a comprehensive national campaign titled "Why the Jordanian", executed by the university’s Media, Public Relations, and Broadcasting unit. The campaign aims to highlight the university's scientific and historical status and strengthen its esteemed legacy as a beacon of science and creativity, and a pivotal uplift in the national and Arab renaissance.

The campaign seeks to enhance pride among its students and alumni in their affiliation with The University of Jordan, document its widespread presence across various fields of knowledge and public service, and highlight its contributions to building national leadership and honing skills that have played a significant role in serving the community and the state.

The campaign kicks off through two main tracks; the historical track that showcases the scientific and historical symbolism of the university and the success stories of its graduates who have taken up leadership positions in various sectors, and the achievement track that focuses on the qualitative leaps made by the university in recent years. Top on the list is its progress in global rankings, digital transformation projects, development of the university hospital through the KOICA project, as well as the upgrading of infrastructure leading to a significant accomplishment represented by zeroing out its debts.

The Media, Public Relations, and Broadcasting unit will utilize its various media platforms to ensure the campaign's message reaches the broadest possible audience. The media content will be broadcasted through the university's digital platforms including the university news site, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn, in addition to special programs and interventions on The University of Jordan Radio.

The campaign also includes comprehensive media coordination with national visual, auditory, and print media to enhance the presence of the media message of the campaign and highlight the university's national role.

The campaign is scheduled to host a series of interviews and interventions with high-profile figures, including ministers, deputies, distinguished alumni, as well as academics, students, and influencers, to discuss the impact of The University of Jordan in shaping their professional and intellectual pathways and answer the question posed by the campaign title: “Why the Jordanian?”.
