Khaberni - The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan held a special awareness day titled "Stay Conscious" at Gardens Mall, with active participation from college students, continuing its commitment to enhancing health awareness and serving the local community.
The awareness day included a number of important health topics, such as diabetes awareness, high blood pressure, skin care, digestive health, and education on the misuse of antibiotics and their negative effects. The college students provided explanations and health advice to a large number of participants, in an interactive atmosphere that reflected the level of scientific and professional training they possess.
Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Hasban, expressed his pride and appreciation for the efforts of the college students and their distinguished participation in organizing this activity, praising their effective role in spreading health culture and enhancing community awareness, and affirming the college's commitment to continuing the initiatives that embody its academic and humanitarian mission in serving the community.
The event was attended by the Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Mohammad Al-Wahsh, and several faculty members, affirming the college's ongoing support for awareness activities and community initiatives.
This day was organized as part of the vision of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan and the mission of the College of Pharmacy aimed at linking academic knowledge with practical application, enhancing scientific and professional responsibility amongst students, thus preparing qualified cadres capable of serving the community efficiently and excellently.
The college also extended its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the management of Gardens Mall, represented by the General Manager, Lawyer Zaid Al-Sayouf, for their warm reception and generous hospitality, which had a significant impact in making this activity successful and achieving its desired goals.
