Khaberni - The Kingdom remains under the influence of unstable weather conditions on Saturday, with relatively cold and partly cloudy weather, and showers in various parts of the kingdom. It is expected that showers may occasionally be heavy in the north, center, and east of the kingdom accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. Winds are expected to be southwesterly active with occasionally strong gusts reaching speeds of up to (50 km/h) in some areas, causing dust, especially in desert areas.
The Meteorological Department warns in its report of the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas in the north and center of the kingdom and parts of the eastern regions, and the risk of thunderstorms and hail, and the risk of strong wind speeds especially in the south of the kingdom, and the risk of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in desert areas, calling for necessary precautions for respiratory patients, and to be cautious of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.
The maximum and minimum temperature ranges in east Amman today are between 17 - 9 degrees Celsius, in west Amman 15 - 7, in the northern highlands 14 - 6, in the Sharah highlands 13 - 5, in the desert areas 21 - 8, in the plains areas 17 - 9, in the northern Jordan Valley 24 - 14, in the southern Jordan Valley 25 - 15, at the Dead Sea 24 - 14, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 26 - 16 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, the kingdom will be affected by a cold and humid air mass accompanied by a low-pressure system, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures, with cold weather and partly cloudy skies. Rain showers are expected from time to time in the north and center of the kingdom, and parts of the southwestern and northeastern regions, possibly heavy and brief in the morning in the north and central areas. Winds will be westerly active with occasionally strong gusts.
On Monday, a slight increase in temperatures occurs, and the weather will be cold in the high mountainous areas, relatively cold in the desert and plains, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Partly cloudy in the north and center of the kingdom, with light rain showers expected in the early morning hours in parts of the north and center. Winds will be westerly moderate.
On Tuesday, a noticeable increase in temperatures occurs, and the weather will be pleasant and sunny in most areas, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be southeasterly moderate.
