AlSafadi Jordan stands with the Syrian government and works to enhance fraternal relations

Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi confirmed on Friday that Jordan is proceeding with a clear vision and strong will to strengthen historical fraternal relations and unconditionally support the Syrian government in facing challenges.

Al-Safadi said via his account on "X": “Fruitful fraternal talks during a visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Syria during which I had the honor of conveying His Majesty King Abdullah II's greetings to his brother His Excellency President Ahmad Al-Shar’.

He added: "We proceed with a clear vision and strong will to reinforce our historical brotherly relations, and we stand unconditionally with the Syrian government in facing challenges, and in its efforts to rebuild a secure, stable, unified Syria that serves all its citizens after years of oppression and destruction."


On Thursday, Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shar’ received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi, and Chief of the Joint Staff Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, and Director General of Intelligence Major General Ahmad Hasni, with the presence of the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Assad Al-Sheibani.

Al-Safadi conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Abdullah II to His Excellency, and a message from His Majesty affirming the Kingdom's support to brotherly Syria, and keenness to enhance the historical fraternal relationship between the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency the Syrian President sent his greetings to His Majesty the King and affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries, and the keenness to enhance them through broader cooperation in various fields, serving both peoples and the two brotherly countries.
