Khaberni - Two expatriates were killed and others were injured on Friday due to the fall of two drones in Sohar Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, according to what the Omani news agency reported, citing a security source.
The agency clarified that one of the drones fell in the Al-Aweh industrial area, resulting in the death of two people and injuring others, while the second drone fell in an open area without any injuries being recorded.
This comes amidst escalating regional tensions, as Israel and the United States have conducted airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which resulted in the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day of the war, and Tehran has since retaliated by launching attacks on Israel and other countries in the region using missiles and drones.
