Saudi Arabia Intercepts and Destroys 15 Drones in its Airspace

Khaberni -   The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced, on Friday morning, the interception and destruction of 12 drones after they entered the airspace, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The official spokesperson of the ministry, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that four drones were first intercepted and destroyed, followed by three others in the same areas.

He added that two drones were intercepted and destroyed in Al-Kharj Governorate, and two others in the Eastern Region.

The spokesperson mentioned that an enemy drone was shot down while trying to approach the Diplomatic Quarter, and three drones were intercepted and destroyed in Al-Kharj Governorate and the Empty Quarter.

The spokesperson had announced that on the morning of Friday, 12 drones were intercepted and destroyed after entering the airspace.

Since Saturday, February 28, Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and since then, Tehran has been retaliating by striking Israel and countries in the region with missiles and drones.
