Khaberni - The pace of events in the twenty-third episode of the series "Mawlana" escalated, after it ended with an assassination attempt targeting Jaber through rigging his car, in a scene that left the character's fate hanging.
Episode 23 of the series "Mawlana," titled "The Assassination," saw a noticeable escalation in the dramatic trajectory of events, with an expansion of doubts among the characters and rising security tension inside Al-Adiliyah village, leading up to a shocking assassination attempt targeting the character "Jaber".
The events of the twenty-third episode begin when "Zeina" tells her grandmother "Jouriya" that "Jaber," played by actor Taim Hasan, no longer approaches her as before, and she no longer feels safe inside the house, explaining that the behavior of his sister "Shehla" looks suspicious and unusual, before she later asks "Faten" to help her find a solution to her anxiety.
On the other hand, "Colonel Kifah," portrayed by actor Fares Al-Helow, decides to temporarily stop the military personnel's vacations, in an attempt to discover the traitor within the group. During this, "Al-Hajji" visits "Jaber's" house congratulating him on his success, and during the visit, he tries to get closer to "Shehla," and "Jaber" tells him Shehla has read the Fatiha in Beirut.
Meanwhile, "the military officer Milhem" enters the office of "Colonel Kifah" to inform him that "Osama" cannot be trusted, accusing him of standing with the village people, requesting him to closely monitor his movements.
In another track of events, "Dr. Jumana" returns to Al-Adiliyah village carrying the body of her deceased father to bury him there, in an emotional scene that reveals a humanitarian aspect of the story. At the same time, "Zeina" puts an herb in the tea that "Jaber" will drink, in an act that suggests she is planning something. Later, "Osama" goes to visit "Faten" to check on her, while "Milhem" follows his movements as per the colonel’s instructions.
In the most tense scene during the episode, some military men rig "Jaber's" car during his presence in the council of mourning. As "Jaber" prepares to leave the place and board his car, "Mishmish" tries to prevent him and screams warning him not to approach the car, but it explodes suddenly before "Jaber's" fate becomes clear, ending the episode on an open scene leaving many questions about what will happen next.
