Khaberni - The town of Jinderis in the Afrin region, north of Aleppo, Syria, was shaken by the crime of killing two jewelers and a young man working with them, by unknown assailants in two cars, and the security forces immediately commenced investigations to identify the culprits.
In detail, local sources in Jinderis told "Al Watan" that the bodies of the two young men, Murad Hussein Aziz and Ahmad Barakat, who owned two gold shops, were found shot dead, along with the young man Mohammad Murad, who worked with one of them, inside a car near the new bazaar district in the city.
The sources mentioned that jeweler Ahmad Barakat, owner of "Barakat Jewelery", hails from the town of Banan Al-Hoss in eastern Aleppo countryside, and was the place of origin for Mohammad Murad from the village of Um Jarn, whereas jeweler Murad Hussein Aziz grew up in one of the villages of Jinderis from the Itara family. All had moved to the city and settled there during the years of the Syrian revolution.
The sources speculated that the jewelers were killed by gunfire following a robbery, whereupon a patrol from the internal security forces rushed to the crime scene to begin the investigations and reveal the details of the crime, which was condemned by the residents of Jinderis who demanded the arrest of the perpetrators and retribution, to achieve security and stability in the city.
