Publication of the Fifth International Conference on Computer Science and Informatics ICSIC 2024 Research at Amman Arab Universi

Khaberni  -  Emphasizing Amman Arab University's commitment to supporting scientific research and enhancing its presence in prestigious global databases, the proceedings of all accepted research for the Fifth International Conference on Computer Science and Informatics ICSIC 2024, held regularly by the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University, where the conference research has been published through the American Institute of Physics and Engineering AIP, which issues many internationally refereed and indexed scientific journals within global databases, primarily Scopus.

It is worth noting that the American Institute of Physics and Engineering (AIP) was founded over a century ago and includes more than (35) specialized scientific societies worldwide dedicated to advancing sciences and engineering, enhancing scientific research, and serving the academic community. It oversees the publication of numerous refereed scientific journals indexed in global databases including Scopus and Web of Science. It also publishes conference proceedings in accordance with precise refereeing and publishing standards that ensure scientific quality and academic rigor.

The Fifth International Conference on Computer Science and Informatics was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Al-Samirat, over two days with broad international participation and representation. It formed a distinguished scientific milestone at the international level and witnessed a qualitative presence of researchers from various countries including Egypt, India, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and the United States of America, reflecting the advanced scientific status of the conference and its global academic presence.

The conference included specialized scientific topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, cloud computing, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and other modern domains in computer science and informatics. Of the (150) scientific papers submitted, (63) research papers were accepted after undergoing rigorous scientific refereeing by specialized local and international scientific committees, and all were published by the global publishing house AIP, to be indexed successively in the upcoming period within the Scopus databases.

In this respect, Dr. Omar Tarawneh, the conference president, confirmed that this scientific step reflects the advanced scientific level that Amman Arab University has reached, embodying its continuous commitment to supporting scientific research and enhancing international academic cooperation. He noted that the conference has become an active scientific platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise among researchers from different countries, contributing to the development of computer science and modern technology fields.

For his part, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University expressed his pride in this scientific achievement, affirming the college's commitment to continuing organizing international scientific conferences that keep pace with the latest global research trends and enhance the environment of innovation and research excellence among faculty members and students. This aligns with Amman Arab University's vision of achieving academic and research leadership at both regional and international levels.
