Kalas Iran accelerates its regimes demise by attacking its neighbors

Khaberni - Kaja Kalas, the European Union's foreign policy chief, criticized Iran's behavior in the region, considering that the Iranian government justifies its downfall by launching random attacks on neighboring countries.

Kalas stated to reporters on Wednesday that Iran’s strategy is based on creating chaos and inciting discord in the region, noting that this approach contributes to escalating regional tensions and undermining stability.

Restraint
The statements by the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kalas, come at a time when the European Union is calling for restraint and avoiding the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, following mutual attacks between Iran, and both the United States and Israel.

The 27 EU countries confirmed in a joint statement the need to respect international law and protect civilians, warning that any further escalation could lead to a widening of the conflict in the region.

The European Union also expressed its concern about the repercussions of escalation with Iran on regional stability and energy markets, especially with the impacts of tensions in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz on global oil and gas supplies.
