Israel Observes Decline in Iranian Rocket Launches Two Reasons

Khaberni - After 5 days of war and mutual shelling, Israel has observed a decrease in the rate of Iranian rocket launches, and has identified two reasons behind this.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported from an Israeli security source, saying that the rate of rocket launches from Iran towards Israel has decreased.

According to the broadcaster, the security source attributed this to several reasons, including severe damage to the launch platforms, and a number of Iranian soldiers fleeing for fear of being targeted.

In further detail, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated: "An Israeli security source informed that the rate of rocket launches from Iran towards Israel is seeing a significant decline, and it is likely that this trend will be reinforced in the coming days, amidst Israeli-American targeting of Tehran's capabilities to execute widespread attacks".

It added: "This is attributed to severe damage to the launch platforms, in addition to the flight of some Iranian soldiers fearing targeting".

It noted that, according to estimates, Iran launched about 90 rockets towards Israel on the first day of the war, followed by about 65 rockets on the first of March, then about 25 rockets, while yesterday only about 20 rockets were launched, indicating damage to Tehran’s rocket capabilities.

The Israeli military spokesman, Yifat Devrin, also confirmed a decline in Iranian rocket attacks

He said in a press conference today Wednesday: "We are observing a gradual decrease over the days, we are now on the fifth day of the operation, and we are witnessing a decrease in the number of launches from Iran".

He added: "Iran still possesses the capability to strike Israel, and we will continue to pursue and destroy it. At this moment, Israeli and American air forces are flying over the skies of Iran, tracking down the launch platforms and destroying them".

He mentioned that "over time, we will destroy more of these capabilities, and the number of launches will decrease".

Devrin said: "I can say that so far we have hit dozens of launch platforms, and we will continue destruction operations".

In the June war last year, which lasted 12 days, Iran launched 590 rockets and more than 1,000 drones at Israel.

At that time, the maximum number of rockets in one day reached 128, whereas the minimum was 5 rockets.

On most days, the number of rockets exceeded 30 daily.
