The Israeli military urges residents south of the Litani River in Lebanon to head north

Khaberni - The Israeli army, on Wednesday, called on residents in the towns and villages located south of the Litani River in Lebanon to immediately move to the areas north of the river, announcing that it will deliver strong strikes against Hezbollah.

The army stated in an Arabic-language statement on the (X) platform that "Hezbollah's activities (...) force the army to act against it forcefully. The army does not intend to harm you. For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately ... Any house used by Hezbollah for military purposes may be targeted."

It added, "To the residents of southern Lebanon, you must head immediately to the north of the Litani River."

Israel has asked the residents of the southern Lebanese region bordering it to completely vacate it, amid its forces advancing on land and expanding its raids which have so far resulted in the death of 11 people and the displacement of tens of thousands.

On the other hand, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 4 attacks against Israel, one of which targeted the center of the occupied territories.

The regional conflict extended to Lebanon following a rocket attack launched by Hezbollah against Israel on the night of Sunday to Monday, stating that it was in response to the killing of the supreme Iranian leader Ali Khamenei in the American-Israeli attack against Iran.

Concurrently, Israel expanded the scope of its raids, targeting a hotel in the Hazmieh area in east Beirut, according to official Lebanese media, in the first attack of its kind on an area predominantly inhabited by Christians which had largely been spared from bombing in the recent conflict between Hezbollah and Israel.
