Khaberni - MP Saleh Al-Armouti, on behalf of the Islamic Action Front parliamentary bloc, called on the government to withdraw the draft amendment to the Social Security Law.
Al-Armouti said that it is unwise for the government to present the bill at this time, amid the sounding of alarm sirens in the kingdom's skies.
He added, during the discussion of the bill in the first reading under the dome of parliament, that the 31 MPs of the party will demand a vote to reject the law if the government does not withdraw it.
He emphasized the need for the government not to fight the citizen in their livelihood, describing the amendment of the law in this form as a "red line," addressing the government with the words: "do not approach it."
