Petroleum and Chemicals confirms its full support behind Jordan and its leadership National security is a red line and above

Khaberni  - The General Union of Petroleum and Chemical Workers in Jordan, led by Khaled Al-Ziyoud, affirmed its firm and absolute stance behind the wise Hashemite leadership amidst the war and the grave developments in the region, emphasizing that the security, stability, and sovereignty of Jordan are red lines that must not be violated under any circumstances.

The president of the union, Khaled Al-Ziyoud, stated that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, proves time and again that it is a pillar of stability in the region, and that its clear and balanced political stances reflect a firm national will that protects the state's supreme interests and guards its internal security in the face of escalating challenges.

He added that the current stage requires the highest levels of national awareness and alignment behind the leadership, stressing that the workers in the petroleum and chemical sector, being an integral part of the national fabric, stand united behind the Jordanian state and its constitutional institutions, security apparatus, and armed forces, supporting all measures taken to protect the homeland and safeguard its borders and security.

Al-Ziyoud emphasized that Jordan will not be an arena for settling scores or a platform for any agendas that affect its security and stability, affirming that national unity and internal cohesion are the strongest weapons in the face of all challenges, and that any attempt to undermine Jordan's security or question its positions will shatter against the rock of its people's awareness and their rallying around its leadership.

The union, in its statement, emphasized that the sensitive regional conditions require solidarity and strengthening of the home front, instilling values of responsibility and belonging, and adherence to the law and respect for state institutions, noting that the stability of Jordan is the foundation upon which all efforts for development and protection of workers’ rights and interests are built.

The union called on all the nation's citizens to uphold a spirit of national responsibility, reject rumors and incendiary speeches, and stand united in face of any attempts to destabilize the country's security or sow division among its people.

The General Union of Petroleum and Chemical Workers in Jordan concluded its statement by affirming that Jordan, with its Hashemite leadership, army, security agencies, and loyal people, will remain strong and impregnable, that its security and sovereignty are above all else, and that the supreme interest of the nation will continue to be the compass guiding its positions at this delicate stage.
