Khaberni - The spokesman for the Israeli Occupation Army said on Monday that Israel is considering a ground entry into Lebanon, at the time when Hezbollah announced its responsibility for launching projectiles at Israel.
The spokesman's statement came in response to a question from the Israeli newspaper "Huim."
Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had launched rockets and drones at Israel on the night of Sunday to Monday in response to the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health also announced the death of at least 31 people and the injury of 149 others as a result of the Israeli Occupation's raids on the southern suburbs and southern Lebanon at dawn on Monday.
Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun said on Monday that the launching of missiles from Lebanese territory at dawn today targets all the efforts and endeavors made by the Lebanese state to keep Lebanon away from the severe military confrontations taking place in the region, from which he repeatedly warned of their consequences on the country.
Aoun added: "We called for prudence and to deal with it with national responsibility that prioritizes the supreme national interest over anything else."
President Aoun condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, warning that using Lebanon again as a platform for support wars unrelated to it would once again expose it to risks for which the parties ignoring the repeated calls to preserve security and stability in the country bear responsibility. He affirmed that the state would not allow this to be repeated, and that the Lebanese people who are still working to heal the wounds caused by previous confrontations would not accept it.
