Due to the war the Jordan vs Iraq match in the Basketball World Cup qualifiers is postponed

Khaberni  -  The executive office of the Asian Basketball Federation, in an official statement, announced the postponement of the remaining matches of the second window of the Asian qualifiers for the Basketball World Cup finals (Qatar 2027), to be held at the start of the matches of the third window, and in the same previously approved venue in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The statement clarified that the matches of the third window will remain on their previously scheduled date and without any change in time or place, while the postponed matches of the second window will be held immediately before them on the same court.
Accordingly, it was decided to postpone the match of the Jordanian national basketball team against its Iraqi counterpart, which was scheduled to be held at 4:00 PM the day after tomorrow, Monday, at the Nihad Nawfal Sports Complex in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The statement indicated that the decision comes in light of current developments in the region, and out of concern for the safety of players, technical and administrative staff, and fans, ensuring the matches are held in a safe and organized environment, in compliance with the approved regulations and achieving the principle of equal opportunity among the participating teams.
