Khaberni - Bayern Munich's star, Michael Ulysses, expressed his happiness for reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, by winning both the first and second leg against Spanish Real Madrid.
Ulysses said after the 4-3 win on the second leg in Munich: "It was a good match and a close contest between the two teams, and we knew Real Madrid would try to compensate for their loss in the first leg".
He added, speaking on TNT Sports channel: "The start of the match saw a flurry of goals, but when the pace of the game calmed down, we played better in the second half and managed to capitalize on our chances".
The French international continued: "We demonstrated Bayern's strength and determination to adjust the score, and ended up with a satisfying result".
He said: "Real Madrid player Camavinga was sent off in the final minutes, but before that our level had risen, and perhaps we relatively benefited from the numerical shortage in our opponent's team".
He concluded: "I threatened Real Madrid's goal with five or six attempts until I scored from the last attempt, and it felt great".
