Khaberni - The Belgian coach of the German team Bayern Munich, Vincent Kompany, received a suspension penalty after getting a yellow card, in a thrilling victory for his team over Spanish Real Madrid in the Champions League, but he only thought positively about Wednesday night.
His team turned around a deficit at their home ground due to a blunder by their goalkeeper Manuel Neuer just 34 seconds in, to come back and win 4-3, advancing Bayern Munich with an aggregate score of 6-4 in a fantastic quarterfinal match.
Company told Dazn network: "I found the players to have immense mental strength, we were behind twice then came back, the audience helped, and the players fought fiercely, these moments come with continuing to do such things".
He added: "I am happy the players deserved the win".
Kompany received a yellow card after protesting a foul, before Kylian Mbappe scored the go-ahead goal for Real Madrid 3-2 just before the end of the first half, and in the last minutes, Luis Diaz and Mikael Olise sealed the win for Bayern Munich.
Kompany considered the yellow card harsh, and reiterated his call made on Tuesday to review the number of yellow cards that lead to suspension in the Champions League, considering the expansion of the tournament in the last two seasons.
The coach refused to let that spoil a special night, saying: "It is far too strict".
The Belgian coach will be barred from sitting on the bench in the semi-final first leg match against the defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in late April.
