Khaberni - Israel has stopped the pumping of natural gas to Egypt indefinitely starting from this morning, in the wake of the joint attack launched by Tel Aviv and Washington on Iran, according to a government official reporting to "Al-Sharq".
The official clarified that the halted gas volumes are estimated at about 1.1 billion cubic feet per day, which were coming from the Tamar and **Leviathan** fields in the deep waters of the Mediterranean Sea, imposing additional pressures on Egypt’s energy system, given its reliance on part of the Israeli supplies to meet local market needs.
