Khaberni - The British ambassador in Jordan revealed that the application for obtaining a visa is available online for Jordanians wishing to travel to the United Kingdom.
Ambassador Philip Hall stated that the visa application process will remain online as before, but with the addition of a new step which involves creating a UKVI account via the designated website as soon as the applicant receives their unique reference number.
He explained that travelers will need to log into their account to obtain a "Share Code" after they receive their visa, a necessary procedure that must be undertaken each time the individual plans to travel to the United Kingdom.
He noted that the system is considered more secure for travelers and for British authorities.
