Khaberni - Jordan welcomed today the announcement by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the ceasefire in brotherly Lebanon. It also appreciated the significant positive role played by His Excellency President Michel Aoun, President of the brotherly Lebanese Republic, the Lebanese government led by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs stated in a declaration Jordan's absolute support for the Lebanese state in enforcing its control and sovereignty over all Lebanese territories, monopolizing arms in the hands of the state, reactivating its national institutions, the reformative steps it has taken, and its efforts to preserve Lebanon's resources and the safety and unity of its territories.
