Prince Harry and his wife start a visit to Jordan focused on humanitarian support for refugees

Khaberni - Prince Harry and his wife Meghan arrived in Jordan on Wednesday, on a humanitarian visit that lasts for two days, focusing on health humanitarian efforts to support communities suffering from conflicts and displacement.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said on its "X" page that it "was honored to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan to the Zaatari refugee camp.

It added that Prince Harry and Meghan "met with young refugees at the youth center, and they joined children in playing soccer, arts, and music."

The couple stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to live in the United States with their two children.

The couple participated in a meeting with representatives of donor countries to the World Health Organization, partners of the United Nations, and officials to discuss the delivery of health services to Jordanians and refugees.

They visited a private hospital in Amman "to check on children who were evacuated from Gaza to receive medical care.
