The transfer market expert, Italian Fabrizio Romano, quoting from the Jijantes club account on X: "Juan Laporta confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain offered the Catalan club 250 million euros to sign Lamine Yamal two years ago".
Laporta added: "We refused the offer, he was only 17 years old, some thought we were crazy!"
The Parisian move at that time was an attempt to replace their star Kylian Mbappe who moved to Real Madrid.
