Khaberni - Egyptian security forces managed to arrest a content creator for her publication of offensive language and actions that contravene societal values.
The Ministry of the Interior stated in a release on Monday evening that the General Department for the Protection of Morals in the specialized police sector had monitored a content creator publishing video clips on her social media pages that included offensive language and pornographic actions against societal values.
It added that, after legalizing procedures, the said individual was arrested while she was present in the district of the First October Police Station in Giza.
The ministry reported that the content creator had in her possession a quantity of hashish and a mobile phone, and upon inspection, it was found to contain evidence confirming her criminal activity.
The ministry confirmed in its statement that upon confrontation, the accused confessed to publishing the video clips on her social media pages to increase viewer ratings and generate financial profits, and she also admitted that the narcotics were intended for personal use.
