After stealing 12 tons of Kit Kat chocolate The company We appreciate the thieves refined taste

Khaberni - It seems that the slogan "Take a break" was misunderstood when a group of thieves stole nearly half a million pieces of Kit Kat chocolate in what deserves the title "The Delicious Heist of the Century".

While the world was busy with political conflicts, wars, and economic crises, there was a massive truck on its way from Italy to Poland, but it disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and half a million pieces of Kit Kat chocolate evaporated into thin air.

In this story, we are not facing criminals in the traditional sense, but rather "thieves yet charming", who decided to commit the strangest theft incident, leaving the giant company and its audience in astonishment.

The New York Times published statements from the company announcing that about 12 tons of Kit Kat chocolate bars for Formula 1 races had been stolen while passing through Europe.

The truck, whose fate is still unknown, was carrying 413,793 units from "the new chocolate collection" of Kit Kat, according to a statement from the company.

The journey started from central Italy and was supposed to end in Poland, expected to cover a distance ranging from 776 to 838 miles.

The company confirmed that no one was harmed in the theft of the Kit Kat chocolate, which took place somewhere between the production site and distribution locations, and was limited to one shipment of one type.

"We have always encouraged people to take a break from Kit Kat, but it seems the thieves took the message literally and stole more than 12 tons of our chocolate," the company expressed its dismay at the incident, adding: "While we appreciate the fine taste of the criminals, the fact remains that cargo theft is a growing problem facing companies of all sizes."

The thieves face the problem of "batch code", which threatens to reveal their identities if anyone tries to scan the code, after they committed the strangest theft before the continent's joy season linked to Easter.

It appears that European thieves have a weakness for chocolate, as before this incident, the UK in 2023 was shaken by the case of "the Easter Bunny criminal" who stole 200,000 chocolate eggs, and ended up in prison before tasting a single egg, while the thieves of the 12 tons of Kit Kat are still enjoying the longest "break" in history.
