Khaberni - The US Air Force announced a $4.5 billion contract to expand the production capacity for the B-21 Raider bomber with Northrop Grumman.
The US Air Force statement said: "This agreement works on accelerating the approved procurement process by increasing the annual production capacity by 25%, reducing delivery time while maintaining cost and performance."
A funding of $4.5 billion was allocated for these goals, which have already been approved in the FY2025 budget.
The statement noted that the new bomber is designed to operate in the most challenging environments and features advanced technologies, including advanced stealth technologies to reduce visibility, flexible networks, and a modern command and control structure based on data.
