The Albanian President visits the Roman Amphitheater and the Castle Mountain

Khaberni - The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, visited the Roman Amphitheater and Castle Mountain in the capital, Amman, today, Sunday, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom, accompanied by First Lady Armanda Begaj.

The Albanian President, during his visit to the Roman Amphitheater, listened to a detailed presentation about the historical and touristic significance of the site, affirming its status as a prominent civilizational witness that reflects the richness of the historical and cultural heritage of the capital, Amman.

He also visited Castle Mountain, where he was briefed on the major archeological landmarks of the site, and heard a summary of its historical value and its role in embodying the succession of civilizations that have inhabited the region through the ages, praising the efforts made to preserve this national heritage and maintain it for future generations.


Begaj expressed his admiration for what he saw of historical sites that reflect the depth of civilization in the Kingdom, emphasizing the importance of preserving this heritage, which represents a part of the cultural and historical identity of Jordan.

This visit is part of the official work program that the Albanian President is conducting in Jordan, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and expanding areas of joint cooperation in various sectors.
