Khaberni - The Greater Irbid Municipality announced the referral of two of its employees to specialized investigative committees, following a fight that occurred between them at work and was circulated on social media early Sunday.
The municipality's spokesperson, Gaith Al-Tal, confirmed that the municipality monitored the incident from its very first moments, clarifying that what happened was a transient incident that did not affect the workflow or hinder it, yet necessary measures were immediately taken and the employees were transferred to the competent authorities to impose the appropriate penalty on them.
Al-Tal emphasized that such behaviors do not represent Irbid Municipality nor its approach in reinforcing positive messages and avoiding any negative practices, especially during working hours, affirming the municipality's commitment to the principles of transparency and frankness towards the citizens and its absolute rejection of such conduct regardless of its source.
