I don't know what kind of genius proposed the amendment to the social security law!! No matter your justifications, no matter your actuarial studies, no matter
the brilliance of all your councils; the citizen and his rights are not concerned with what you say,
and the citizen's living security is not
a commodity for you to tamper with, as you did with doughnuts and qatayef! The citizen's security is a red line, yes, it’s a red line!!

Citizens have no relation to your justifications!
We may face economic weaknesses, and we may deal with issues of increasing lifespan,
and early retirement which you did not champion when ministers excelled in using it against creative and opposing employees, the biased, the competitors, and even the troublemakers... Yes, you did not champion the dehumanization of retirement, and now you revolt against early retirement;
championing the economy, protecting administrative mistakes and errors, longevity and declining birth rates, all these are your concern and not of a citizen whom you dismissed or forced into resignation while in his forties; to wait for his salary twenty years later!!
And how does this employee, or that employee survive all these years waiting to obtain his contractual right with the state?

The State's Centenary and its narratives!
Jordan prides itself on its security, stability, and the antiquity of its state! Indeed, everyone boasts narratives that connect us with the depths of history, and the strength of the present! You told the citizen: You are the most precious humanly, the greatest in value and the most dignified in honor! Thus, the citizen trusted his state, and that is his national duty, contracted with it constitutionally, and under numerous laws including social security, retirement, and contracting out of trust
between the citizen and the state! So how can we ask a citizen from now on to perform his duties of citizenship, while the other party has abandoned its duties?!!
If the age of the state is more than a hundred years, and it has its narratives, then it is its duty to honor its contracts with its citizens! Otherwise, who will trust their future after your law???
And who will trust the authorities of their state?!!

The Parliament
No laws except through Parliament!
And Parliament is "the representative" of the people,
or so it should be! So will the Parliament side with the authentic state and the rights of the citizens, or side
with those whom we do not know, or do not know the soundness of what they proposed?!!

Media of the Authority!
We have a fleet of the national carrier of hypocrisy! And although people do not trust them, we have only heard their defense of wrongful policies!
Have they heard about the pains of citizens harmed by the new forced security policies?!!

The Consequences
Honestly: have you considered the impact of social security policies on trust in current and future state projects after you have extended the hand to overthrow past projects?
And when you raise the retirement age to 65, what will you do with the neglected, incapacitated, and failed employees? Will you protect them fearing early retirement?
In our country, there are those who mock the citizen!
