Khaberni - The collapse of a building in Karachi, Pakistan due to an explosion that occurred on Thursday resulted in the death of at least 16 people, including children, while families were preparing the Suhoor meal during Ramadan, according to emergency services.
The spokesperson for the regional ambulance service, Hassan Khan, said "16 people including women and children were killed and 13 others were injured," noting that the three-story building, located in a densely populated suburb, collapsed for an "unknown" reason.
A municipal official said, "It appears that the explosion was caused by gas, but the investigation will determine the details of the incident."
