Khaberni - The area of Kobri El Mazzalat in Shubra El-Kheima, Qalyubiya governorate in Egypt, witnessed a tragic incident today, Wednesday, where a young man ended his life by hanging himself after tying his neck with a rope and fastening it to the bridge's barrier.
The security services at Qalyubiya Security Directorate received a notification from the locals about the discovery of a young man's body hanging from the bridge. Immediately, security forces moved to the incident's location and secured the area.
Upon examination, it was confirmed that the young man had committed suicide by hanging. His body was found dangling from a rope tied to the bridge's barrier. He also sustained a neck wound from the rope twisting.
The body was transferred to the hospital under the jurisdiction of the investigative authorities. Upon examining his belongings, his mobile phone and personal ID were found on him. A report on the incident was filed, and the public prosecution took over the investigation, ordering an autopsy to determine the cause of death and permitting burial after completing the procedures.
