Khaberni - On Wednesday, Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites, Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, launched the Ramadan charity parcels distribution campaign, which is carried out by the Zakat Fund in cooperation with Mohammad Abu Sufa and his partners.
Al-Khalaileh emphasized that the campaign embodies the ministry's approach in fostering faith values and promoting social solidarity in supporting poor and needy families, in partnership with zakat payers and donors.
In the presence of the General Director of the Zakat Fund, Abd Samirat, Al-Khalaileh expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Mohammad Abu Sufa and his partners, and to the Zakat Fund, for their efforts in supporting poor families by providing food items and parcels during the holy month of Ramadan. This helps alleviate living burdens and enhances the spirit of social solidarity.
For his part, benefactor Mohammad Abu Sufa explained that the campaign will distribute 10,000 food parcels at a cost of a quarter million dinars to its beneficiaries through zakat committees in various regions of the kingdom.
