Jordanian physician Dr. Imad Bdwan embodies the meanings of humanity in sacrifice and generosity, demonstrating that medicine is an ethical mission that rises above all considerations before being a scientific profession.
According to what the family of the little girl Raneem narrated, this stance was made clear when Dr. Bdwan restored hope to "Raneem's" family after they were at a dead end in their search for her missing treatment from the Ministry of Health's warehouses and its high cost in the private sector.
After all doors were closed in the family's face, as they told Khaberni, Dr. Bdwan's sincere voice was a source of reassurance for the family, when he told Raneem's mother: "Consider me your brother and Raneem my daughter, God willing, I will solve your problem no matter what".
And it did not stop at promises; he embodied this phrase in reality when he welcomed Raneem and her family in his office at the Ministry of Health with open arms, as if they were in the home of a relative or sibling.
Raneem's family confirmed that what Dr. Imad Bdwan did was a reminder that behind the desks of state employees, there are hearts that beat with the pain of the people, and when humanity supersedes medicine, it not only heals bodies but also mends broken spirits.
And they emphasized that this honorable model elevates the name of the Ministry of Health through the ethics of its employees before their work.
