Khaberni - The Central Traffic Department warns citizens of anticipated traffic congestions, due to the onset of the holy month of Ramadan coinciding with the monthly payroll deposits in banks.
The department calls for adherence to correct traffic behavior, particularly in regards to parking, to avoid congestions and accidents.
The Traffic Department, in a post on Facebook, pointed out that the weekend coincides with the dates of salary disbursements and citizens' preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, which will contribute to an increase in traffic density more than usual in various roads of the capital Amman and the provinces of the kingdom.
It urges citizens to adhere to proper traffic behaviors, avoid random and double parking in front of shopping centers and commercial gatherings, be cautious when crossing roads, and follow the guidance of traffic sergeants in the field.
