Khaberni - The Yemeni Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, following the confirmed sighting of the Ramadan crescent.
The ministry's statement said that the committee assigned by the Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance to monitor the crescents, composed of astronomy professors, honorable judges, and scholars, confirmed the sighting of the crescent. Thus, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, will be the first day of Ramadan according to the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Fast upon seeing it and break your fast upon seeing it, and if it is obscured to you, then complete the count of thirty days."
