Jordan suspends the export of live sheep to neighboring countries during Ramadan

Khaberni - The Ministry of Agriculture announced on Tuesday, a decision to stop exporting live sheep to neighboring countries, aiming to guarantee the supply of the local market's red meat needs, maintaining price stability, and providing sufficient quantities for citizens during the blessed month of Ramadan.

In the same context, the ministry clarified that new origins have been opened for importing live animals, including sheep and calves, in addition to accrediting new slaughterhouses for importing various kinds of meats from approved and health-vet-certified sources.
