Khaberni - Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Al-Qudah confirmed that the government pays great attention to the work of the civil and military consumer institutions, and is keen on supporting them to enable them to perform their tasks efficiently, which contributes to achieving price balance and preventing any unjustified price increases.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Al-Qudah, during an inspection tour in the markets of the institutions today, Monday, emphasized the vital role of the institutions in this phase, especially in enhancing food security and ensuring the availability of essential food commodities to citizens at high quality and reasonable prices, stressing the need to continue maintaining safe stock levels to meet market needs.
He pointed out that the ministry continues its field monitoring operations on the markets to constantly monitor the availability of goods and stock levels and to control any practices that affect the stability of prices, achieving balance in the markets and protecting the interests of the citizens.
In turn, the directors of the civil and military institutions confirmed the readiness of their staff and the continuation of their work according to well-studied plans to ensure the availability of goods.
They indicated the institutions' commitment to maintaining a sufficient strategic stockpile of various basic food commodities, reaffirming their continuation in enhancing the stock to meet the needs of the citizens, while committing to providing competitive prices that help relieve their burdens, continuing to perform their national role in coordination with government bodies and the private sector to ensure market stability and meet the needs of the citizens in various conditions.
