Klopp Refuses to Coach Manchester United Chelsea and The Three Lions

Khaberni -  Media reports confirmed that Jürgen Klopp refused to coach Manchester United, Chelsea, and the England national team after leaving Liverpool, according to his agent.

The Sun newspaper clarified that after Klopp's departure from Anfield in the summer of 2024, following nearly nine years with Liverpool — a period that saw Mauricio Pochettino's sacking from Chelsea and Manchester United's exploration of alternatives to Erik ten Hag — the German coach's name prominently emerged as he sought a new experience.

It added: "Klopp made it clear that he cannot imagine managing any other English club and that he felt burnt out after a long period of intensive work in Merseyside."

Klopp’s agent, Mark Kosic, revealed that this did not stop two of Liverpool's rivals from inquiring about the possibility of hiring him, and added that Klopp could also have replaced Gareth Southgate as England's coach.

Kosic told the website Transfermarkt: "Perhaps at some point, he may feel the desire to return to the locker room atmosphere, but for now, he is very happy with his current role. Before joining Red Bull, Jürgen could have coached the United States or England, and maybe even Germany if Julian Nagelsmann hadn't already taken the job."

Nevertheless, Chelsea and Manchester United inquired about the possibility of hiring him although Klopp had made it clear that he would not coach any other English club.

These inquiries are still ongoing, yet the historic coach of Liverpool football club is very content with his achievements, and it still remains remarkable that he enters history as one of the few who coached only three clubs and was never fired from any of them.
