Khaberni - Inter Milan crushed its guest Roma with a score of 5-2 on Sunday evening, in the 31st round of the Italian Football League, moving a step closer to clinching the competition's title.
Inter took the lead in the first minute through Lautaro Martinez, then Roma equalized in the 40th minute through Gianluca Mancini.
In the second minute of stoppage time of the first half, Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored Inter Milan's second goal with a powerful shot from distance, then Lautaro Martinez scored his second and the team’s third goal in the 52nd minute.
Three minutes later, Marcus Thuram scored the fourth goal, and then Nicolò Barella completed the quintet in the 63rd minute, while Lorenzo Pellegrini scored the second goal for Roma in the 70th minute.
Inter Milan thus raised its points to 72 in first place, a nine-point difference with Milan, which is in second place and plays against Napoli in third, this Monday evening, in a top-of-the-table clash.
On the other hand, the points for Roma freeze at 54 in the sixth position, behind Juventus in fifth on goal difference, which also plays this Monday evening against Genoa as a part of the same round.
