Tkiyet Um Ali The occupation charges 10 thousand dinars for any aid truck entering Gaza

Khaberni - The General Manager of "Tkiyet Um Ali" Samer Balqar, said on Monday that the nature of work in bringing aid into the Gaza Strip had changed during the first and second ceasefire stages of the war, noting that relief aid faces restrictions, as its entry is prohibited.

Balqar explained through Al Mamlaka TV that only small quantities of aid are allowed entry through Rafah, while goods enter the sector commercially, noting that the occupying authorities charge about 10 thousand dinars per truck entering Gaza.

He mentioned that the institution is currently contracting with the interior, in light of the ongoing restrictions on bringing in relief materials, confirming that work continues despite the challenges.

He indicated that operations are conducted using available resources and in cooperation with local partners, highlighting that local associations have played a significant role over the past two years and contributed to reaching agreements.

He added that there are joint committees with the Palestinian Ministry of Development and the Hashemite Charity Organization, and that partner associations are present on the ground to receive projects and deliver them with daily documented and registered records.

Balqar affirmed that the funds transferred to Gaza are done through the Hashemite Charity Organization.
